Tooth Extraction Treatment

Tooth Extraction Treatment in India

A dental implant is a replacement for one or more teeth which acts as a permanent tooth. Implants are permanent and long-term solutions for people suffering from missing teeth, chronic dental problems, falling teeth.

What is Tooth Extraction?

It is usually a screw of titanium which replaces the root of the tooth when it’s damaged or fails to protect the tooth. The screw is directly placed into the jaw bone. Dental implants fit and suit the best just like the permanent teeth. By the time, the titanium fixture fuses with the living bone cells, as a result making it strong and permanent just like the permanent teeth. Dental implantations are generally of two types i.e endosteal and subperiosteal implantation.
In Endosteal Dental Implantation the false tooth is implanted into the bone whereas in Subperiosteal Dental Implantation the false tooth is implanted in the jaw bone just under the gum. Dental implants are associated with different grafting methods such as bone grafting. For dental implantation procedure involves an oral surgery to prepare a place for the implantation. After a few days of oral surgery, implantation is done. In some cases, according to the condition the tooth/teeth are implanted known as “Immediate Implantation”

Advanced Endodontic Care

One of the ways our Dubai Endodontists provide the most efficient and comfortable root canal treatment is thanks to our state-of-the-art dental microscope. Dental microscopes allow enhanced, accurate imaging of the internal surfaces of your tooth roots. As such, your root canal treatment is more effective and successful, compared to endodontic therapies performed without a microscope.

Incorporating of a root canal microscope allows us to ensure no lingering infection, attention to any secondary canals, and thorough cleaning of the tooth before the root canal filling is placed. None of these surfaces are visible to the naked eye, so a dental microscope takes your care to the next level for a predictable procedure.

Tooth Extraction Treatment Procedure

During endodontic therapy, we gently numb your tooth to prevent any sensations or stimuli during the appointment. From there, the nerve chambers are accessed and the tissues inside of them are removed. We use our dental microscope to thoroughly oversee the cleaning inside of each canal. Next, the tooth is filled to seal out any new bacteria. The overall process typically requires one appointment, followed by a dental crown.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does a tooth need to be extracted?

There are various reasons why a tooth might need to be removed. These include overcrowding of the mouth, making space for orthodontic treatment, tooth decay, damaged teeth or infection. If you’ve had pain for some time, it’s worth getting a dental examination to determine whether your tooth can be saved by root canal therapy.

What happens after the procedure?

It’s normal to experience some pain after the anesthetic wears off, but it can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain medication.

What can I do to help the healing process?

There are several ways to speed up the tooth extraction healing time, and your dentist will provide you with detailed instructions to follow. These may include:

  • Eating softer foods, avoiding smoking and spitting for 2 to 3 days, and not drinking through straws for 24 hours after the procedure to avoid bursting the blood clot at the wound site.
  • Icing the affected area to sooth the pain and take in only food and drinks that are moderate in temperature.
  • Placing gauze on the wound site and biting down on it with pressure to reduce bleeding
  • Avoiding aspirin and other blood-thinning medications for a few days
  • Focus on eating soft foods only for a few days following the extraction
