Teeth Whitening
Saving Your Tooth and
Relieving Pain for a Healthier Smile
What Is Teeth Whitening?
Teeth have layers including enamel, dentin, and pulp. Over time, stains and discoloration can affect the enamel, making teeth appear dull or yellowed. Teeth whitening treatment is used to address these issues. During the procedure, a whitening agent is applied to the teeth to break down stains and brighten the enamel. This process can be done in-office or with at-home products. After whitening, it’s important to maintain good oral hygiene and avoid foods and drinks that can cause staining to keep your teeth looking bright and healthy.

Patient Testimonials

Visited Jas Dental, a dentist clinic in Koramangala near Christ University for two dental procedures. For a cavity filling and teeth cleanup, the doctor did a thorough job. I had also gone in later for a wisdom tooth extraction, the doctor explained each step to me, and the extraction was quick. *Note that for extractions, it's advisable to book an appointment a day in advance to ensure the availability of the dental surgeon.
January 19, 2024Had a great experience at the clinic. The staff is very responsive and polite. Dr Nibras helped me get my teeth aligned and I'm very happy with the results. Booking an appointment is hassle-free and treatment plans don't burn holes in the pocket. An easy recommendation.

August 19, 2023Dr Nibras hands down is the best Dentist that I have ever met. I was having a tooth ache for almost 6 months and I had visited couple of other dentists before but that did not help me. Later one of my friend suggested Dr Niras. I visited her and in couple of appointments she helped me recover the toothache. She is very down to earth and makes the patient very comfortable and does not rush. I would highly recommend any one with any dental probem to visit Dr NIbras.

FAQs
Teeth whitening works by applying a bleaching agent to the teeth, which breaks down stains and lightens the color of the enamel, making the teeth appear whiter.
Teeth whitening is generally safe when performed correctly. However, it’s important to follow the product instructions or dentist recommendations to minimize risks such as tooth sensitivity or gum irritation.
Results can last from several months to a few years, depending on factors like diet, oral hygiene, and lifestyle habits. Regular touch-ups may be needed to maintain the brightness.
Some people experience temporary tooth sensitivity after whitening treatments, but this usually subsides within a few days. Using desensitizing toothpaste can help alleviate discomfort.
Whitening treatments are effective for many types of stains, particularly those from food and drink. However, they may not be as effective for certain intrinsic stains or discoloration caused by medications.
